Tuesday, June 30, 2015 was Tamari Warrendale's last day of service, meaning both restaurants are officially closed to the public. It goes without saying, but once again thank you to both the hard-working Tamari team and to our amazing, loyal customers of the past years. I'm confident that we haven't seen the last of each other.

Until next time,

After six years of operation and eight total years of time invested in Tamari, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that we will be closing the doors of Tamari restaurant in Lawrenceville. Saturday, May 2, 2015 will be our last day of service.

It has truly been an honor and a privilege serving each and every guest that has walked through our door, many of whom have become friends. I am deeply grateful to all of you for welcoming Tamari with such open arms and for continuing to support us through these years.

Tamari was the realization of my lifelong dream of not only owning my own restaurant, but of bringing a genuinely unique dining experience to Pittsburgh. It has been the most demanding, and yet the most rewarding experience of my life. However, the time has come to close this chapter of my life and begin a new one. I am tremendously excited to bring a new concept to the public, so be on the look out for what’s next, and in the meantime be sure to come and visit me at Tamari Warrendale!

With eternal gratitude,
